She will share about professional development options for TESOL instructors and explore how teachers in our context can engage the wider TESOL community with their insights and contributions to the field. One of the key innovations that she is focusing on here is the importance of non inner circle practitioners in advancing their collective knowledge in the field.

Her presentation highlights four current trends in English language teaching: authentic listening, task-based learning, learner responsibility, and the lexical approach. It also points teachers to online resources they can use in their classrooms or direct their students to.
